In the ever-changing world of business, where volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA) are the norms, leadership development is more critical than ever. Here at Kane Learning, we are THRILLED to introduce Spark, our new learning and development platform designed to ignite leadership potential and drive success.

Spark comes equipped with a variety of features, including:

  • My development – An e-learning course with resources that support learners in owning their personal development and creating a meaningful Development Plan.

  • E-learning – A curated library of professional development courses for people at all levels in your organization. The courses are organized by Lead Self, Lead the Work, Lead People, Lead Teams, and Lead the Organization.

  • Resources – A library of books, articles, videos, and more to enhance learning.

  • Gamification – Learners earn badges, points, and certificates for completing courses, creating a friendly competition.

These features provide benefits to our clients in so many ways! Here are just a few:
  • Meet employee expectations for development

  • Grow employees’ ability to work together effectively

  • Build leadership capability

  • Implement and use with ease

  • Measure the impact of development with reporting

To learn even more, we recently had a chance to chat with Cassie Kane, our founder and CEO, about Spark – what it is and why we created it, and how it connects to Kane Learning’s mission.  You’ll also get to hear Cassie herself share what's unique about Spark!

Can you give us an overview of the new learning and development platform, Spark?

Cassie: Spark Development is a new way to provide targeted leadership development centered on the skills that drive success in today’s VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world. It’s powered by an LMS so you can track completion, measure progress, and connect learning to performance.

What inspired the creation of this platform?

Cassie: As we work with clients across industries and of all different sizes, there is an ongoing request for leadership development for their teams. Some of our clients have internal programs but need resources to customize development for individuals. Other clients don’t have budgets that support internal learning and development teams or programs but still want to provide meaningful development within their budgets. Some clients have many resources across multiple platforms, and they ask us to curate resources and programs from those resources. Out of these needs, the idea for Spark was born: a way to customize development and enhance leadership programs through on-demand e-learning, resources, and gamification.

What excites you about Spark?

Cassie: I love that all our clients can provide meaningful development to their teams. We work with many non-profits and small businesses that can’t afford their own LMS or memberships to leadership development resources are too expensive. With Spark, they get to do more for their teams and, through this investment in their people, they will grow performance.

We'd love to connect if you have any questions or would like a demo! Let's SPARK the future of leadership development together!
